After being successfully proven in customer projects over several years, I have decided to make my CANopen stack available as Open Source.

Unlike many existing CANopen implementations, CANoopEn was designed from the ground up using modern software engineering principles:

• Object-oriented architecture (C++/OOP)
• Clean, modular and maintainable design
• Easy to extend and integrate
• Designed for industrial embedded systems
• Open Source

CANoopEn is the result of more than 30 years of experience in embedded software engineering and over 20 years of hands-on experience with CANopen and CANopen Lift CiA 417 in demanding industrial applications.
