As a graduate electrical engineer FH, I am rather an exotic figure among the many highly qualified software engineers ETH with whom I work on a daily basis.
But there are also amusing anecdotes where I am grateful for my basic electrical engineering training. Recently, a PWM driver (pulse width modulation) had to be implemented and I was asked: ‘What is PWM’?
The software development in combination with tests on the various machines still makes my job a dream job for me!
